Frozen Pickle Tournament 2023

The 2023 Frozen Pickle Tournament will be held at the Maryland Heights Community Center on Saturday, February 4th and Sunday, February 5th.

Tournament will take place in the INDOOR gymnasium (basketball floor surface).

Fee is $25 per player per event ($50 per team per event).  Deadline for registration is January 7th.  

Play will be divided into 3 skill levels:

Low Intermediate:  3.0

High Intermediate:  3.5 

Advanced:  4.0+

The following schedule is TENTATIVE and subject to change:

Men's and Women's Doubles -Saturday, February 4th 9:00am-3:00pm

Women's Doubles- Start time TBD

Men's Doubles- Start time TBD

Mixed Doubles - Sunday, February 5th 9:00am-3:00pm

Mixed Doubles- Start time TBD

Tournament Format:

Social Round Robin format. Teams will play each team in their group once in a game to 11 win by 1. Skill level groups with more than 7 teams will be split into age groupings based on each team's youngest player. Groups with less than 4 teams will be merged with other skill levels. Teams switch sides of the court during the game when one team reaches 6 points. 1 timeout per team per game is allowed.

If the bracket you want to sign up for is full and you would like to be put on a wait list, contact Margaret at mgurgol10@gmail.com.  Registration deadline is January 27th, 2023. 

Refunds may be processed minus service fees any time before January 20th.  After this date, there are no refunds on entry fees. In the event of a  postponement, participants will be refunded minus processing fees if they wish to withdraw after the new date is announced. 100% refunds will be given if the tournament is cancelled completely.
